Our Story
Jason and Michele are the heart of SAVOR Snack Shop.
For Jason, it began with buying and selling baseball cards as a young kid. After college, he started a chain of retail pet supply stores in Chicago. After selling the company, he moved to Cranford, NJ ready for the next business idea.
Michele used to work for Whole Foods Market as the Healthy Eating Specialist and then started her own marketing business. She’s passionate about whole foods, doing what you love, and empowering women to put themselves first.
Michele and Jason met on a blind date. As they got to know each other, Jason told Michele he always wanted to start his own brand. He turned to her and asked, “I wonder with my business experience and your creativity if we could build a brand together?” She replied, “Sure, why not?”
Seven years later, they're opening a store together.
They wanted to add something different to Downtown Cranford – all of your cravings in one store! At SAVOR, you will find gourmet chocolate, nuts, dried fruit, candy, beverages, unique gifts, and more. All the fun stuff! Their store is FULL of delicious, salty and sweet treats along with allergy free options too.
